Update PipĮnter in Terminal.app: sudo pip install -upgrade pip It was already installed together with Python. Now you need update Pip which is a Python package manager. The newly installed Python version should be displayed. Install Python 2.7.9 & PipĮnter in Terminal.app: brew install python in order to find out where the python binaries are located use the terminal and type the following commands: which python or which python3. The brew help command should display a list of brew (= Homebrew) commands as validation of a successful installation of Homebrew.
